Chandigarh Public Service Commission had announced to conduct the state service exam for 189 vacant posts. Candidates were eagerly waiting for the exam date and admit card release, now the wait is over as CGPSC has released the date of exam of prelims exam i.e., 12th February 2023, and has also released the admit card for the registered candidates on 31st January 2023 through their official website.
Candidates have to download the admit card which will allow them to sit for the exams. CGPSC state service selection process
The exam will conduct in 3 stages the first stage will be preliminary exam followed by main exam and the last stage will be an interview for the candidates who will clear both of the prior stages.
CGPSC State Service prelims exam pattern
- The prelims exam will conduct with 2 papers (paper 1 and paper 2)
- The exam will be in offline mode
- The exam will be based on multiple-choice question
- Candidates will get 2 hours for each exam
- Each paper will have 100 questions in total 400 marks for both of the paper
- Each right answer will provide 2 marks
- 75 marks will be deducted in case of any wrong answer (negative marking)

CGPSC State Service prelims exam admit card: how to download
CGPSC has released the admit card on 31st January 2023 on their official website, candidates can follow the following steps to check and download their admit card.
The first step involves opening of the official website i.e., psc.cg.gov.in
- Look for the notification option available on the homepage
- Now click on the CGPSC State Service Admit Card 2023.
- A new page will open
- Enter your registration no. along with your password
- Click on the submit option
- A new document will open
- Click on the download option
Note: remember to carry your admit card printout at the time of exam or else you would not be allowed to sit for the exam.
