Odisha police constable recruitment: how to apply
The recruitment application has been released on 30th December 2022 and was available till January 21, 2023, given below are the steps on how to apply
- The first step involves visiting the official site of OPSSB i.e., gov. in
- Complete the registration by filling in your mobile no. and email id., save your registration and password
- Click on Odisha Police Constable Recruitment 2023 presented on the home page
- Fill up the form, submit the required documents
- Now click on the submit
- Pay the application fee
Note: remember to keep the payment receipt.
Application Fee: an application fee for General and OBC is 220/- whereas there are no fees for ST and SC categories.
Odisha police constable recruitment eligibility criteria
- Candidates must have passed 12th (10+2) from Odisha or any other recognized board
- Candidates must be above 18 years
- The age could be relaxed for reserved categories
Odisha police constable exam pattern
The exam will be conducted on 20th February 2023 in three stages, the first stage will be a written exam followed by a physical test (efficiency and measurement) and a driving test which is optional.
Written exam:
- The exams will be for 100 marks in total
- The exam will be in 2 parts
- The exams will be in objective form
- The candidates will have 1 mark for every correct answer
- 25 marks will be deducted for every wrong answer (negative marking)
- No marks will be deducted in case of no answer has been written
- The exam will be of 2 hours
- The medium of the exam will be in English and Odia

- Click on the Notification section available on the home page
- Now look for the Constable (Civil) Admit Card and click on the option
- Fill up your registration no. along with your date of birth
- Verify and click on submit option
- A new document will be visible, click on the download option
Note: remember to carry your admit card along with identity proof to the exam hall or else you won’t be allowed to give the exam
